There's no doubt that female leaders in all professions have blossomed over the years but the struggle between gender inequality is still present and SoGal, a platform that empowers emerging entrepreneurs to succeed, is doing their best to strengthen the female community of entrepreneurship.
SoGal, is a community that unites global founders to change the world, by bringing new ideas to life and supporting great startups. SoGal hopes to redefine the next generation of founders and funders by empowering female entrepreneurs and venture capitalists, in which they have succeeded thus far, attracting 3,000 members from over 20 countries.
SoGal's Founder, Pocket Sun spoke to #Digital90210 about the struggle of gender inequality in the industry and her visions for the future.
Tell us about SoGal and how it came about?
SoGal is a global network of female and diverse entrepreneurs with 3,000 members in 20+ countries. It started when I got frustrated with the fact that I was always one of the few women at startup and tech events.
How does SoGal differentiate from other Venture Capital companies?
