Updated on: 22 May 2016
The online dating app Tinder has evoked a wide spectrum of responses among Bengalureans. While some found the relationships they were looking for, some were disappointed and eventually uninstalled the app.
Indu Harikumar (36) is collecting stories from people across the world on social media platforms Instagram and Facebook. Hashtag #100IndianTinderTales is about a month old and has received responses from Bengalureans as well.
Excerpts from an interview.
When did you start the project?
I am more than 30 days into the project. I thought of it a day or two before I started. I wasn't sure it would take off given we don't talk about relationships openly. I was only expecting strangers to send me stories. I am surprised how many people have opened their hearts and written such beautiful and raw stories.
Tell us about the stories you got from Bengaluru.
I haven't read all the stories but I have put up two stories from Bengaluru. One is about running into a Tinder date while on another date. Another one is an interesting tale of a girl from Bengaluru and a man from Lagos.
