What was you brief for composing the music of Te3n?
Well, I was taken on-board to compose the background music for Te3n. But then it was decided to include some songs too in the film. It was a challenge of sorts for me as the shooting had already taken place.
So the songs would just be part of the background score?
Well, I was shown a rough cut and was told they might try to incorporate a sampler of the songs but after listening to the compositions both director Ribhu Dasgupta and producer Sujoy Ghosh decided to cut the film differently and incorporate the songs as well. Somehow, they ended up being part of the narrative.
Kyun re has been sung both in yours and Amitabh Bachchan's voice. Why the two versions?
