We speak to fashion and retail experts to bring you city specific shopping advice all this week on Femina.in. Be sure to bookmark these pages before you go shopping. We kick off the series with fashion designer, Nida Mahmood who takes us shopping in Delhi.
Nida's aesthetic seamlessly permeates into her personal style, living and work spaces, and her runway collections. Her love for head scarves, pop colours and street art take her shopping to high-street brands, online portals and traditional markets in the capital. We tag along.
What are the best areas to shop in Delhi?
Shahpur Jat is the design district in New Delhi. Go there to find indie-designers and a lot of boutiques and stores. I also like the Pahargunj area for some interesting vintage pieces.
What is your favourite place to shop for denims?
I always buy jeans from Zara. I love their fits and washes. I either go to the store at DLF Promenade (Vasant Kunj) or the one in Select City Walk (Saket).
