What is the outlook in the US on investments in Bengaluru?
The outlook is very promising among US-based investors looking at the Bengaluru market. Many Indians living in the US have been very successful in the IT industry. Most of them have extended family back in Bengaluru. Many purchase a home in Bengaluru for their parents or siblings here. There are also people who are buying a home here so they have a base in case they want to retire and settle down in Bengaluru, where they feel they will be more comfortable coming back to their roots. In the northern Virginia area, the suburbs of Washington DC, there is a significant presence of Indians working in IT companies. They are highly educated and skilled. There is significant demand among them for a property in Bengaluru as an investment.
The outlook is positive because of the healthy growth in property prices here and the favourable exchange rate.
