Hi Abhishek, Welcome to INDshare, introduce yourself and tell us about your journey so far.
Hi, first of all, Thanks for giving me this opportunity. I am from Sunam, a small town in district Sangrur, Punjab. After completing my schooling from Sunam, I cleared IIT-JEE in 2005 and joined IIT-BHU. Then I went on to work at various institutions like Resonance, Aakash, Pace and finally came to Mumbai as a Chemistry faculty for IIT aspirants. Along with all this happened 'VoLT – Vocabulary Learning Techniques'.
What is the vision behind VoLT?
VoLT, Vocabulary Learning Techniques is a Book and an android app which will provide the reader with various innovative techniques to remember difficult English words. So in VoLT we have tried to associate difficult but important English words with normal life events, funny stories, pictures and other self-tested highly effective techniques which will surely help the reader to learn and retain while enjoying the whole process.
What made you think or inspired you to become an entrepreneur?
Well, Entrepreneurship came as a surprise to me. Hailing from Sunam, a small township in Punjab, I had a real pain point in English and knew that a good command over the English Language was needed to succeed. Addressing this pain point ultimately lead to my entrepreneurial journey.
